The Hunger Challenge-Riverwood Elevate

The youth group at Riverwood Covenant Church in Rockford, MN joined up with Adored International Ministries in the month of February to help fight hunger. Each student was able to experience what dinner may be for someone less financially fortunate as we served rice and beans. Students were challenged to take the Hunger Challenge with their families by:

  1. Giving up a coffee at a popular restaurant and donate your money instead ($5-$8)
  2. Eat rice and beans during the week and donate the difference of cost you normally spend on a meal- talk with your family about how you can be a world changer with small steps.
  3. Go out to eat with your family, match the receipt price with a donation towards hunger.

Noone should go hungry! $1 a day can feed one person rice and beans, with $3 adding meat to that meal. Reach out to us, if you would like to join our hunger challenge, or have your group participate!
